To those who cannot look away, and to those who intend to stay:
Surely it must be a premonition. Carl always had a way of being subtle about his private life, but this he could no longer take. It took exactly 4 minutes and 17 seconds to pack up his whole life; to realize he had nothing but a tambourine. That trusty tambourine adorned with purple ribbons and one small rip in the canvas. He headed out of his home for good, and there was a special jingle to his walk (thanks to the tambourine, of course.) Carl was ready.
"I think I see it, Vince."
Laura and Vince are the kind of people who drink wheat grass for breakfast and eat sushi on Tuesdays. None of that will matter today. Today was special; it must have carried a bit of Fortuna's buzzing luck, because Laura was sure she saw it. Still falling and heavy, her eyelids desperately pleaded for sleep. It was in that fraction of second when her eyelids dragged back up did she spot the tambourine.

7 Things You DIDN'T Know!
Hello you have been tagged blog buddy!
You know the drill, 7 obscure facts, tag 7 people.
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog
To my surprise, I've been tagged into the Blog Buddy game by the lovely Tatyana.
Here we gooooo!
1. I have a strong dislike toward Self-flushing toilets. Is it just me or do they always flush too soon and too often? I am completely capable of flushing my own toilet, thank you (even if that means with my foot)!
2. I just did a total makeover on my online shop on Myspace & Etsy complete with new layout , pictures, and items for sale. Check it out here!
3. I work at the library, and whenever I see a book about spiders I fall into a trance where I cannot look away. I guess you can say I get into a state of fascinated terror.
4. Whenever I get a blood test or donate blood my eyes love to watch the needle enter my arm. I find it very interesting and awesome.
5. As a child, eating grass and licking sidewalk chalk off my hands was a normal part of my diet.
6. Everyday that I don't ride my bike there is a little pang of sadness in my world.
7. I think I might be allergic to soy products. How many vegans in this world don't eat soy as well? I'd very much like to know. :)
I tagged you!!

The Simpsons dress
My Sociology teacher gave me this awesome shirt featuring Homer Simpson, but it was a bit too big. With that said, I made it into a little summer dress. It was particularly interesting because I just happened to have scraps of fabric laying around that matched the t-shirt graphic very well. :)
I'm going to list it onto my Etsy store and see what happens.

Do you?
Do you ever finish making a project to put up for sale and then realize you might want to keep it? That happens to me all too often. Today I customized this dingy tan handbag into an awesome tribute tote featuring Bob Dylan. It has a sketch of his face on the back along with lyrics to "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue." I may want to sell it, but the result has made me all to happy to give away just yet. Has this ever happened to you? If so, what was it?
